REFERENCE / TESTNET BETA

Limits and troubleshooting.

A clear view of beta constraints and what to check when something does not work.

Where research data comes from

FETCHN uses the Robinhood Stock Token API for assets and reference prices, GeckoTerminal for available DEX market history, WSJ and Financial Times RSS for reporting, and Reddit for public discussion. Where enabled, the research stack can also use SEC EDGAR, FRED, NewsAPI, X, Perigon, Exa, Tavily and OpenAI Web Search. Availability varies by provider and asset.

Agent review checks whether the available sources support the result and flags missing or conflicting evidence. Forecasts should be read with the underlying sources and their timestamps.

Current testnet limits

  • Five Favorites per account in this beta. Automatic Stock Token buying is limited to TSLA, AMZN, PLTR, NFLX and AMD.
  • Up to three occupied agent slots per vault, with no duplicate held Stock Token. A strategy enters once, then monitors its own exit. Only one scheduled Favorites strategy may run per vault.
  • The Favorites schedule offers 1, 4 or 12 hour rescan intervals and 1–10 automatic analyses per day, subject to the account’s broader allowance.
  • Quotes and liquidity can change quickly. Slippage and pool-depth checks can reject a transaction.
  • Neither testnet PnL nor the underlying forecast represents a real-money return.

If something does not work

Wallet or balance not showing
Confirm your wallet is on Robinhood Chain Testnet (46630), that it is the same linked wallet, and refresh balances.
Cannot buy a Stock Token
Check test USDG for the purchase, ETH for your signed transaction, a fresh quote and enough pool liquidity. ETH is not the direct quote asset for Stock Token buys.
Agent remains armed without buying
Check the latest forecast, thresholds, selected source balance, token approvals, pool depth and the status message in Terminal. A qualifying underlying outlook alone does not ensure a testnet trade.
Favorite Tokens are not being scanned
In Terminal, star a token, save an enabled analysis schedule and authorize Automated Analysis & Trading. Check the daily analysis limit and the strategy status.
Vault missing on another device
Use Restore an existing FETCHN testnet vault with the saved contract address and the same owner wallet.

Sign-in and wallet problems

The email link returns an error
Request a fresh link from Account and open the newest email. Confirm your browser returns to the same site origin. A used or expired link must be replaced, not retried.
The wallet signature cannot be shown
Unlock the extension, choose the intended EVM account and retry. A signature request is not a transaction and does not need ETH. If multiple extensions are installed, choose the intended provider in Terminal before trading.
“Link this trading wallet” appears
The wallet connected in Terminal differs from the verified address in Account. Link that wallet in Sign-in methods or switch back to the linked address.
Balances show a dash
Switch to chain 46630, reconnect and select Refresh balance. Check the wallet address in the testnet explorer. A hidden token in the wallet UI can still exist on-chain.

Quote and transaction problems

No quote or no pool liquidity
The third-party pool may have no reserves or too little depth. Try a smaller test amount or another supported token. A faucet token in your wallet does not imply a pool exists.
Quote expired or price moved
Quotes are short-lived. Request a new live quote and read its minimum output before signing. The current slippage bound is 1%.
Approval succeeded but no buy appeared
An ERC-20 approval is a separate transaction. Return to Terminal, request a fresh quote and confirm the actual swap. Inspect both hashes in the explorer.
Transaction submitted but Terminal is still waiting
Open its hash in the explorer. Wait for confirmation or a recorded failure, then refresh balances. Do not infer success from a wallet popup alone.
Deposit is missing
Confirm the deposit transaction on chain and verify you selected the same owner wallet and vault. Use Refresh deposits. If you changed devices, restore the vault address first.

Automatic agent problems

No automatic scans
In Terminal, check that at least one Favorite Token is starred, scheduled analysis is enabled and saved, and an Automated Analysis & Trading strategy is armed. Check the daily automatic cap and account allowance. Scan intervals are eligibility windows, not exact appointment times.
Scan finished but no entry
Read all three forecast windows and your thresholds. At least two must pass probability and confidence; a window below 45% probability blocks the overall signal. The agent must also find test USDG, current permission and executable liquidity.
The strategy says “armed” for a long time
Armed means waiting, not filled. Read the latest error under the strategy. A stale forecast, expired permission, inadequate operator gas or missing pool can all prevent an order.
Exit did not occur exactly at the target
Take profit and stop loss compare an executable exit quote with the actual entry cost. The worker checks periodically; network delays, slippage and liquidity can change or block the result. Inspect the status and transaction hash before taking further action.

What is not enabled

Mainnet execution, broker account connection, token-holder access tiers and billing are outside this testnet release. The Terminal explicitly labels test funds and uses Robinhood Chain Testnet only.

For current account and trading status, use the live status and error messages inside Account and the Terminal.
