REFERENCE / TESTNET BETA
Glossary and common questions.
Short definitions for the terms you will see throughout FETCHN.
Research terms
- Reference price
- The underlying asset price used as the starting point for an outlook; it is not the amount a testnet pool will pay you.
- Forecast horizon
- The future period the model evaluates, such as 24 hours or 7 days.
- Probability
- The model’s estimate that the underlying reference price will be higher at that horizon. It is not a guaranteed frequency or a profit probability.
- Confidence
- An evidence and agreement score attached to the forecast. It is not a guarantee that the probability is calibrated.
- Growth outlook
- A 0–100 directional research score across the 24H, 7D and 30D probability/confidence pairs.
- Fresh analysis
- A result recent enough for agent entry. The current agent requires a result less than 30 minutes old.
Trading terms
- Vault
- An on-chain contract associated with your wallet. It can hold a separate deposited balance or record bounded agent permissions for Wallet mode.
- Allowance
- A token-specific cap approved in your wallet for a contract. It is distinct from the agent’s daily USDG limit.
- Pool liquidity
- Assets available in the selected testnet AMM pool to exchange one token for another.
- Quote / minimum output
- The current estimated received amount and the lowest amount allowed by the transaction’s slippage bound.
- Slippage
- The permitted change between the reviewed quote and execution. The current testnet trade flow uses a 1% maximum.
- Unrealized PnL
- The difference between actual entry cost and a current executable exit estimate while a position remains open, excluding gas.
- Realized PnL
- The difference between actual entry cost and the confirmed sale proceeds after an exit, excluding gas.
Common questions
- Does starring a token let an agent spend my funds?
- No. A star only saves a research selection. Automated trading needs an armed strategy and on-chain permission.
- Why create a vault if I choose Wallet?
- The contract stores your bounded agent authority. Wallet mode keeps the trading tokens in your wallet until an authorized transaction executes.
- Can I buy a Stock Token directly with ETH?
- Not through the current Stock Token route. It buys with test USDG. Use a quoted ETH → USDG conversion first if available, and keep ETH for gas.
- Why did the agent not trade after a positive forecast?
- The forecast may fail your thresholds or freshness rule, or the source balance, approval, operator gas, pool depth or quote may be insufficient. Read the Terminal’s status message.
- Do I need a Robinhood brokerage account?
- No. This flow uses an EVM wallet on Robinhood Chain Testnet and a third-party AMM pool; it does not place Robinhood brokerage orders.
